Over the decades, the Rolex Date has graced countless dial configurations. However, the blue textured “mosaic” dial stands out with its unique finish, reflecting light to create varying shades of blue – from subtle blue-grey to a captivating blue-purple, depending on the viewing angle. The applied faceted hour markers, slightly bolder than usual, add depth and dimension, creating an intriguing visual effect. Depending on lighting conditions, these markers can appear almost black at the center, with silver or white edges. The lume plots, essential for vintage watches, exhibit a creamy patina, enhancing their allure. Completing the vintage charm, the watch features a Folded link 7835 Rolex Oyster bracelet.
