About Watts On Watches

Watts On Watches is an independent luxury watch specialist focused on sourcing and offering exceptional vintage and modern pre-owned watches, with a particular emphasis on condition, originality, and correctness.

I founded Watts On Watches in Yorkshire with a very simple aim: to build the kind of watch dealer I would want to buy from myself.

Not the loudest. Not the biggest. But one that prioritises quality over quantity, honesty over hype, and long term relationships over quick sales.

Every watch I offer is personally selected. I don’t buy everything I’m shown, and I don’t list watches simply to fill space. I focus on the best examples I can find within a reference. That means sharp cases, honest dials, correct components, and strong provenance where possible. Whether it’s a vintage Rolex, an early Omega, a Cartier Tank, or a modern sports model, the same standards apply.

Collectors come to Watts On Watches because they trust my eye and my approach. I’m open about condition, transparent about originality, and clear where compromises exist. If a watch has service parts, later components, or notable wear, it’s discussed openly. I believe informed buyers make confident collectors.

Every watch is fully inspected and all purchases are supplied with a 12-month warranty, insured delivery, and full documentation. More importantly, I stand behind every watch I sell long after the transaction is complete.

Watts On Watches is not about chasing trends or pushing inventory. It’s about curating watches with lasting appeal, helping clients buy well, and offering guidance built on experience rather than sales scripts.

Whether you’re purchasing your first serious watch or adding to an established collection, my aim is always the same:
to help you acquire a watch you’ll still be proud to own years from now.

    Founder & Managing Director
I’m Thomas Watts, Founder and Managing Director of Watts On Watches.

My involvement with watches started early. I began working with watches at 16 years old, and since then I’ve built a deep, practical understanding of both vintage and modern timepieces, with a particular focus on condition, originality, and market nuance across the wider luxury watch sector.

Watts On Watches was founded in 2021 as a direct reflection of how I believe watches should be bought and sold. I wanted to create a business led by enthusiasm and expertise, not volume or hype. A place where collectors could deal with someone who genuinely understands what makes one example better than another, and who is prepared to say no as often as yes.

Today, alongside running Watts On Watches, I also provide specialist watch consultancy to auction houses, jewellers, and other businesses that require informed, independent expertise. This includes valuations, sourcing advice, condition assessments, and guidance on originality and market positioning.

Everything I do is grounded in the same principles: transparency, accuracy, and respect for the watches themselves.

“I built Watts On Watches to be the kind of company I dreamed about as a young collector, one built on passion, trust, and true expertise.”
