The Rolex Datejust Reference 16030 is a very recognisable piece of Rolex history that combines timeless design with modern functionality. It features a 36mm steel case with an engine turned bezel that adds a touch of sporty, durability to the watch compared to the fluted bezel variant. The white dial with black printed Roman numerals and black hands is both stylish and functional, while the jubilee bracelet ensures a comfortable fit. The Buckley dial is named after New York-based dealer John Buckley and features painted black Roman hour markers compared to the more common applied Roman numerals. The Datejust line was first introduced in 1945 and has since become one of Rolex’s most iconic watches. The 16030 model was introduced in the late 1970s and continued production through the 1980s.
