The heated battle of Vintage Omega vs Vintage Rolex is always present within the Watts On Watches team. This Omega Constellation however leaves both sides of the debate, particularly team Rolex, lost for words due to its beauty. You will struggle to find a better condition Omega Constellation from the sixties than the piece on offer here. Complete with a rare and original crosshair Omega dial that is decorated with applied gold details and dauphine hands, the watch is then topped off with an immaculate Omega beads of rice bracelet. The watch is in amazing vintage condition with only light marks to the crystal as seen at the photos at 11 and some light patina to the original dauphine hands. This rare variation leaves collectors in awe. The automatic 551 Chronometer certified movement is a fantastic example of high precision watch making from Omega and still keeps great time to day, for a 60 year old movement it is in amazing condition and would give some modern automatic movements some real competition. The Constellation collection dates as far back as 1952 and is a testament to the craftmanship that Omega can offer then and now. Adorned on the back with the famous observatory decorated by a constellation of eight stars, this gives reference to the numerous exploits of Omega in world chronometer competition.
