This is one of the most extraordinary modern Omega watches we have ever handled, and without question one of the rarest Planet Oceans in existence.
Produced exclusively for Royalty and Specialist Protection Officers, this Seamaster Planet Ocean was never a commercial release, never catalogued, and never made available to the public. The project began in 2018, with final delivery taking place in 2021 after extensive internal approvals.
In total, only 51 watches were produced. These were issued solely to serving Close Protection Officers and armed uniformed officers guarding the Royal Palaces. No other models were produced as part of the project.
This particular example is engraved with its unique issue number and the original officer’s warrant number. For obvious and fully respected reasons, the original owner has requested anonymity. What can be said is that the provenance is absolute, verifiable, and without precedent on the open market.
To our knowledge, no departmental Omega of this nature has ever been publicly offered for sale before.
