Produced in 1969, this watch sits in a fascinating period for Omega. The brand was producing watches with serious technical credibility, refined case design and chronometer rated movements that were built to an extremely high standard. While many collectors naturally look toward Constellations from this era, these Seamaster Chronometers offer much of the same movement quality in a more understated and wearable package.
The dial is beautifully balanced. A clean silver surface is paired with black inlay hour markers, adding depth, contrast and a slightly sharper look than a standard Seamaster dial. The black inlays work perfectly against the polished hands and soft silver tone, giving the watch a refined but distinctive character.
At 35mm, the steel case wears extremely well. It has classic vintage proportions, but with enough presence to feel relevant on the wrist today. The overall design is elegant, clean and quietly confident.
