This Omega De Ville Ref. 145.018 is a particularly rare example from 1968, notable for its clean no-tachymeter silver dial. Most De Ville chronographs from this era feature a tachymeter scale around the outer edge, making this pared-back dial layout far less common and considerably more elegant.

Powered by Omega’s Calibre 861, this was one of the first models to use the now-legendary movement, introduced in 1968 and based on the Lemania 1873. The same robust and reliable calibre later powered the Speedmaster “Moonwatch”, cementing its place in horological history.
