The dial is the standout.
A deep gloss black finish that completely transforms the watch depending on the light. In certain angles it appears almost mirror like, while in others it softens into a rich black tone. The layout is perfectly balanced, with sub seconds, date and power reserve all integrated cleanly without clutter. It feels considered, not forced.
Inside sits the calibre 928 automatic movement, a superb in house calibre that highlights exactly what Jaeger-LeCoultre do best.
This movement underwent the brand’s renowned 1000 hour control testing, a far more rigorous standard than typical chronometer testing. Every aspect of the watch is tested as a complete unit over six weeks. Accuracy, reliability, temperature variation, shock resistance. It is a level of testing that very few brands apply, and it shows in the finished product.
