The Heuer Silverstone, one of the most iconic and collectible of all vintage Heuer watches alongside the Carrera, Monaco and Autavia. The Heuer Silverstone came to market just after the ‘Automatic Chronograph Race’ of the late 60’s between the Chronomatic group and Zenith. Launched in 1974 as a replacement to the Monaco, which is the watch disputed to be the first ever automatic chronograph, the vibrant red Heuer Silverstone 110.313R displays much softer lines yet commands a presence on the wrist.

The Heuer Monaco has been hailed an icon in recent years, however back when it was initially launched it was not a commercial success. A similar story like the lack of success found with the original, early Rolex Daytona models. However, back in the 70’s, it was the Heuer Silverstone introduced to reignite Heuer success in the automatic chronograph department. The red dial is the only Heuer model that was produced with this colour and has subsequently risen to cult classic status amongst collectors.

TAG Heuer have recognised the cult classic status of the Heuer Silverstone in the last 20 years with a selection of re-edition models, but nothing captures the 70s beauty such as this incredible, original example in outstanding condition. A stunning opportunity to invest in a rare and vibrant piece of Heuer history.
